ABOUT MARBURN ACADEMY:
Marburn Academy is a not-for-profit, independent, day school devoted to serving the educational needs of bright students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD and executive function issues. Opened in 1981 with 12 students, Marburn now educates over 300 students year-round. Marburn Academy is the only school in Central Ohio with academic and co-curricular programs designed to address the full range of unique learning and personal development needs of children with learning differences such as dyslexia and ADHD. Students from approximately 25 Central Ohio communities attend the school.
When the school was chartered, Marburn Academy’s original Board of Trustees established the tradition of offering financial aid to as many eligible families as possible. This effort requires Marburn to raise more than $400,000 per school year to provide the tuition assistance required by well over 50% of our families, as well as to help offset operational expenses not covered by tuition revenue.
